Service Quilt Projects
Kodiak Bear Paw Quilters Guild has been providing Comfort Quilts for over 20 years. These quilts are made by members to be used by those in our community and beyond who might need a hug. Recipients are nominated by someone telling a Guild member.
Currently the Guild participates in the following ongoing projects. As the need arises the Guild members have made a donation to various one-time projects, such as the 100 pillow cases made for the youth of the Paradise Fire in California to be used as their book bags.

Comfort QuiltsOne of the important activities of the Bear Paw Quilters Guild is creating comfort or "service" quilts that we give to needy families, or to comfort someone after the loss of a loved one, or someone who has survived a tragedy.
