Comfort Quilts

Guidelines have been created to help members in creating these special quilts. Often the Guild has extra fabric, donated by gracious members, and often the fabric is color coordinated in packets, ready to be sewn.
  • Comfort quilts have been from baby size to twin and anything in between.
  • We provide to Providence Infusion Center are lap sized quilts.
  • Elder House quilts are either twin or lap size. New residents can request colors and size for their quilt. A guild member coordinates the request for a quilt and the membership identifies a member willing to make the quilt.

The Guild has a stash of donated fabric which members may use for the top, backing or binding on all categories of comfort quilts. Fabric donations are always welcome. MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DONATE MATERIALS FOR THE QUILTS AS THEY ARE ABLE.
